Review of Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette

I’ve been a loyal Coastal Scents customer for a few years now. They have really affordable prices and I usually pace my orders when they a have a special sale going on. I’m a big fan of their makeup brushes but have never really tried any of their actual makeup. They had a great sale for mothers day week and I took advantage and ordered some items for my mom, sister, and myself. I love that I always receive an extra sample item, like a small eye shadow. When I opened the “10 Blush Palette” I was surprised because the colors looked so vibrant. I don’t know what I was expecting but it was nice to have a variety of colors; pink, peach, coral, and maroon tones. The blushes themselves aren’t specifically labeled with what color they are, but none the less they are beautiful. The colors are matte but have a “satin finish", making most of the colors suitable for both day and night. I am on love with these colors. The texture is smooth and the lasting power is great for about 6 to 8 hours.

Introduction and Wet n Wild Swatches

Hello everyone my name is Vanessa. I am a 21-year-old college student from sunny California. My major is dermatology. It has been a long process and getting there and it will continue to be one, but it is my dream. Not just because of the fancy white coat, but because I can interact with people and help them. The reason I chose to be in this field is because I have seen dermatologist from different geographical areas and I never found the one that was willing to address the cause of my problems. I would always leave more confused than ever with a prescription for anti-biotics. I thought if someone was intelligent enough to attend medical school, then they should have a basic understanding of how nutrition, genes, and other factors play a significant role in skin conditions. I believe that the medical system is not as great as I could be, and yes I want to attempt to change that. Aside from work and school I enjoy experimenting with new makeup products, in particular drugstore ones, because they are affordable and most drugstores have friendly return policies! I hope to make this blog a mixtue of everything, night life, fashion, makeup, and health.
Enough rambling, since I could possibly go on forever. I recently picked up two Wet n Wild palettes; #335 Silent Treatment and #392A Tunnel Vision.

Tunnel Vision

Natural daylight

Indoors with no flash

The colors are so smooth and pigmented. I promise I will try to take better pictures next time, I was just so excited to get the blog up and show you guys! Next we have the Silent Treatment swatches. The colors are great for both a day time or night time look.
Silent Treatment

I couldn't get the "true" colors of this palette to show up, but I proise they're lovely. The three colors in Silent treatment do have subtle shimmer.

Hope to hear your feedback, please don’t be shy and you can always follow me on instagram @MissVanessaG.
Much love, yours truly,
Vanessa.
