Hello everyone and happy Friday! I though it was Saturdau
because I don't have school today, but I do have work all weekend. It seems
like I can't ever catch a break. I have bought so many goodies from Ulta,
Walgreens, and MAC, and I want to share them with you, but I haven't had time
to actually try most of them out. Hopefully once Agusut arrives I have a little
more time for myself. I'll be working full time, but I won't have school until
September. I've been looking for ways to promote my blog, but I realy don't
know where or how to start. I would love to blog more often and interact with
makeup junkies like myself, haha. I am no makeup artist, but I do enjoy
spending uncanny amounts of time on youtube watching makeup tutorials. If you
have any tips on how I can promote my blog or simply want to share your

Let me begin by saying that I am not that familar with
Covergirl products, much less their foundations or concealers. The only Covergirl
product I own is probably the Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 foundation, which is pretty
good. The packaging is pretty but also bulky. The foundation retails for $16.99
and the concealer retails for $11.99.
The foundation I purchased is in the shade Light/Medium (no
number) and has pink/beige undertones. Once blended, as you will see in the
pictures below, the color seems to neutralize. It has a mousse consistency that
seems thick at first, but it blends easily and effortlessly. Surprisingly, the coverage is light to
medium. It’s not full coverage at first, but you can build it up. It does offer
reasonable coverage, but the lasting power isn’t the best. It lasted about 6 hours without a setting powder, but it beagn sort of “melting off”. With a
setting powder I found that it could last up to 8 hours. Within those 8 hours I
do blot my face with some oil absorbing wipes or matiffy my powder with a
pressed powder. It has a matte finish, but it doesn't look too matte, it leaves a nice natural matte/dewy like finish. The foundation does claim to have anti-aging ingredients, but I
didn’t see anything prominent on the ingredient list. It does have dimethicone,
which is great for filling in any pores or crevasses. Overall I don’t think I
will be repurchasing this because of the price. I have a few other drugstore
favorites that are relatively inexpensive. I am always open to try new products
so I will continue to use on days when I don’t need too much coverage or
lasting benefits.
The concealer is in shade fair/light (320). I have used the
concealer about 10 times, and it's okay. I'm not super impressed with it. It
has a nice creamy consistency, which makes it super blendable, but
unfortunately it doesn’t offer much coverage. Maybe this is because it is
labeled as an eye “de-puffer concealer”. As you can see in the pictures below,
I swatched it on my hand next to a birthmark I have, and once I blended it out
in efforts to show the coverage, you can’t see any significant or notable
difference. Overall I would skip these two products because they aren’t
something I would personally reach for. However, this might work for you and if
your local drug store has a friendly return policy, I’d say give it a go.
